CMG ConnectCMG CONNECT software is specifically designed for condominium communities that allows boards, managers, and residents to effortlessly view information (e.g. governing documents), communicate with management, check account balance and status, place service requests, and book amenities. CMG CONNECT allows communities a way to become more efficient, better serviced, and allow clients to become more self-managed. This platform streamlines tasks, allowing you to focus on the management of your condominium.

To access this platform go to Condogroup.ca, use the CMG Connect button, and log in with your current credentials.

Features offered in the platform include:

  •  Engagement History: Quickly view what is happening within the condominium profile
  •  Resident Activity: Monitors the number of residents that have moved in or out of the community
  •  Communication:
    • Email Merge: Property Manager and Board of Directors can merge email communication to the Owner and Residents
    • Email Database: Offers a log of the emails on file, how many email accounts are currently active and using CMG Connect, how many emails have been sent daily
    • Owner Service Request: Offers Owners the ability to submit a service request
    • Manager Service Requests: View data on persons involved, progress, closed requests, follow-up information, and most popular service requests
  • Record Keeping:
    • Directory – Find all Owner and Resident list and can be narrowed by specific building
    • Parcels – View a log of any parcels that are accepted on behalf of residents
    • Key Log – Monitor any keys that are released to Owners and/or Contractors
    • Documents – Owners and Residents can access documents for the condominium corporation
    • Amenities – Owners can view data on the percentage of use and persons involved, keys that are signed out, and pending requests. CMG CONNECT allows Owners to book amenities that are offered by the condominium; CMG will set up the amenities that can be booked
    • Parking Pass – Owners can view data on the percentage of use and pending passes to be approved by the Manager
  • Security:
    • Incident Reports: Owners can submit a report by filling in the database and attaching images related to the report. Owners can view active reports that require attention and respond to the report with comments or actions.
    • Pass On Log & Daily Reports
  • Administration:
    •  Properties: Managers can select properties to view property information including address, units, users, emails, and invitations. Managers can write a personalized welcome message and send invitation emails.
    •  Users & User Roles: Managers can create new users to provide administrative services and access to CMG CONNECT.

Q: Can an Owner access CMG CONNECT on their mobile device?
A: Currently, there isn’t an app, but they can use their web browser to access the website.

Q: Is CMG CONNECT integrated with CondoManager software?
A: Yes.

Q: CMG CONNECT has many facets, can options be disabled or enabled?
A: Yes. Options can be enabled and disabled based on condominium needs?

Q: How will CMG CONNECT serve the owners of a townhouse community?
A: It can be used to access owners accounts, condo’s core documents, and communication with the owners.

Q: Are Owners able to send general emails through CMG CONNECT?
A: Yes. Managers will receive messages from their CMG Outlook account.

Q: How long does it take for updated information on CMG CONNECT to crossover to CondoManager?
A: Overnight and vice versa.

Q: If an owner requests a repair, how do they know if it has been accepted and/or dispatched?
A: Once the Manager receives the service request, they can notify the owner that it has been received, share any updates and comments via the Service Request ticket system.

Q: Can amenities be overlapped in bookings?
A: No. The time block will not be accessed when the pending or approved by the Owner who initially requested that specific time frame.

Q: Can you specify what each owner has access to?
A. Yes. There is an option under ‘Properties’, in the administration section, to select who has access to specific documents and/or amenity bookings.
